PLSD graduate student, Nelcida Garcia, received the 2019 Cognitive Development Society Diversity Award. This award recognizes student accomplishments in conducting cognitive development research on diverse populations! Nelcida will be presenting her research examining the relation of executive function and spatial ability in a diverse preschool sample at the biennial conference of the Cognitive Development Society in Louisville, Kentucky this October.
